NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport - Gangtok (125 km / 4 hrs)

Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport & transfer to Gangtok (5,500 ft.). On arrival Check-in to the hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 02
Excursion To Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 km one way from Gangtok city, the lake remains frozen during the winter season and is also considered a sacred lake. Lake surfaces also reflect the different colors with changes in season. Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir is a Memorial & temple honoring the Indian army soldier, folk hero & saint Baba Harbhajan Singh.

(Optional: Nathula pass depends upon permit availability on additional cost @ Rs.5500/- to Rs.6500/- per Vehicle (Monday and Tuesday pass is closed).

Overnight stay at Gangtok.

(In case of Landslide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing).

After breakfast, start your half day local sightseeing of Gangtok covering places Flower Show, Directorate of Handlooms & handicrafts, Gangtok ropeway(own payment ), Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Namnang View Point & Ban Jhakri Falls ( 7 km From main Gangtok town). After lunch transfer to Kalimpong. Expect to reach Kalimpong in the Evening. Overnight stay at Kalimpong.

Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early Morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger Hill (Subject to availability of Permit / Token) to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.

After breakfast visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday close), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway, and Japanese Temple. Evening free for shopping or leisure.
