NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport - Gangtok (125 km / 4 hrs)

Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport & transfer to Gangtok (5,500 ft.). On arrival Check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 02
Excursion To Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 km one way from Gangtok city, the lake remains frozen during the winter season and is also considered a sacred lake. Lake surfaces also reflect the different colors with changes in season. Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir is a Memorial & temple honoring the Indian army soldier, folk hero & saint Baba Harbhajan Singh.

(Optional: Nathula pass depends upon permit availability on additional cost @ Rs.5500/- to Rs.6500/- per Vehicle (Monday and Tuesday pass is closed).

Overnight stay at Gangtok.

         

(In case of Landslide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing).

Gangtok Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, local sightseeing covering Tashi View Point offers you the majestic view of Mt. Kangchenjunga, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Ropeway (Own payment ),  Namgyal Institute of Tibetology(closed on Sunday and govt. holidays), Namnang ViewPoint, Dro dul Chorten  Stupa,  Ban Jhakri Falls, white halls, Directorate of handlooms & handicrafts. Back to the hotel – overnight stay at Gangtok.
